David has confirmed that we can visit him again on the 3rd November, we usually try to arrive around 10 am, he will again supply us with lunch, to those who haven’t attended one of these visits, please try to make this one, it really is a wonderful day out, lets just hope it isn’t bucketing with rain this time.
P.A.System
A decision on which one will suit our needs the best will be made at the next meeting.
Request
Deidre has asked if all members could please keep their small plastic trays ( the ones we get meat etc. on) as they are used as packaging for the sprays that we sell at our shows.
Thanks
Glen suggested we thank the car company for removing their cars so we can have the space to stage our shows ( they pay rent on it 3 months in advance, then the owners charge us as well, double dipping at it’s best). He suggested we present him with an orchid and a thank you card. Carol moved a motion to this effect, 2nd by Libby.
Also we need to thank the people who supplied the leather fern used in our sprays, Ron is going to organise something.
Web Site
Max inquired about updating our website as the information is out of date. The company who designed it is no longer operating, so Gail has offered to take over the management of it and update it. Glen is going to contact the chap who designed it and find out what our options are before making a report to the meeting.
