Most popular orchid in the Open section was Odontioda Futuresque ‘Gloria’ and was grown by Edna Murdoch Most popular orchid in the Novice section was Phalaenopsis unknown and was grown by Lynda Mellows The member who won the most points in the open section was Gail Brodziak with 19 points The member who won the most points in the novice section was Lynda Mellows with 3 points
ALBANY AGRICULTURAL SHOW
Our orchid display and sale at the Albany Show went reasonably well we made a small profit and it was very good public relations event for our wonderful club. There was a lot of interest from the public and some of the sale orchids went to good homes. All in all, everyone who was involved had an enjoyable time. Thanks to those who could spare a few hours to help out.
WEBSITE
The new AOS website will be up and running by 2024.
EFTPOS MACHINE
We will be trialling an Eftpos machine for 8 months next year. It will be very handy for our orchid shows and displays etc.
CUPPA MORNING
Our next cuppa morning will be at Zhivago Café in North Road Shopping Centre, Albany on Friday 12 th January, hope to see you there, 10 00 am. Bring some friends if you like!
